Your Childhood is Officially Back at This Amarillo Pizza Hut

Earlier this year we learned that an Amarillo Pizza Hut was getting our beloved buffet back. I mean if that doesn't scream nostalgia for you I don't know what does. We all grew up on the Pizza Hut buffet.

Even my daughter grew up enjoying that same Pizza Hut buffet. Yes, I raised her right. Then one day they were gone. So was our childhood. So we got excited when we first heard that the Pizza Hut on I40 and Coulter was adding back the buffet.

Then not long after that, the Pizza Hut on Georgia left it up to a vote. Did we want to see the buffet return there as well? Of course, I know that I did. The Georgia Street Pizza Hut is near my home and is the one that holds so many memories for me.

That was our every Wednesday lunch location for where I was working at the time. We needed to escape as a group and Joey was always our server. I wish they had the buffet then but they had another great lunch special. Though, the buffet would have killed then too.

The vote must have been a success because the sign in front of Pizza Hut made the announcement.

The Georgia Street Pizza Hut was bringing back our childhood. They were bringing back the buffet. Here we are and the day has finally come. The buffet is back.

I drove by and got the good news. So of course I had to stop by and check out this buffet. There of course was plenty of pizza to choose from. You could get a salad, pasta, and breadsticks as well. Yep, I am all for it.

The buffet is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Now can we just get the Pac-Man table top game back? Then my childhood is totally back.
