Dasher Diary: A Great Way to Help Your Amarillo Dasher Out

I have been delivering food for over a year now and I feel like I have gotten pretty good at it. There are always going to be challenges. Trying to find certain homes and apartments is always a struggle.

The never-ending fear that you are delivering to the wrong house because not a single house on the street is numbered. Even after searching on Google Maps to try to get an image of the house, it can still be difficult.

The never-ending running upstairs and trying to figure out how certain apartments are numbered will always be a challenge. So if there is any way to make a delivery easier I beg that you do just that.

If you can give specific details about something on your porch, or the color of your house, that would be appreciated. If you can let us know what floor your apartment is on so we can skip looking at the other ones. boy would that be helpful?

Oh, and if you are a customer who needs to provide a pin can you please have that pin ready? Can you also remind us as we are dropping off your food? Yes, it is our responsibility to get it from you but a reminder when we are handing you your food would be great. Sometimes we forget because we are human. Oh, and we are worrying about so many other things about the delivery that may slip our minds.

It sure would keep us from having to get back out of our car while we are confirming and walking back to your door and asking for it. Plus it is helpful if you know your pin. Sometimes it says the pin is the last four numbers of your phone number. Please let us know which phone number is used on your account. Anything to make things faster.
