With Halloween coming and going last week, you would think that would end the season for the pumpkin patches and farms in the area. If you are a smart business you find a way to keep the fun going.

You find that opportunity to keep people coming out for fun.

I mean the weather is still pretty nice so why not find activities to keep the family outside and together? Find ways to make those memories. It won't hurt if you learn something in the process.

Friday is Veterans Day and a perfect opportunity to do just that. It's an opportunity to head out to Leonards's Farms. If you didn't get to go out during the Halloween season you can check it out this Friday.

They are going to have a movie night in honor of Veterans Day. They are located at 17670 FM 1062. They decided that Veterans Day was a perfect opportunity to get the family out and watch Pearl Harbor together. They will start at 6 pm with a short documentary at 6:30 pm. They will even have the corn maze open for your family to enjoy.

Make sure you grab your chairs and blankets. They will, though, make sure Journey Coffee is out there to help keep your hands and insides warm with their coffee. You don't even have to worry about cooking dinner before heading out there at 6 pm.

They have made sure to line up Abbie Normal's food truck out to feed the family. If you are a Veteran or active member of the military make sure you bring your military ID so you can enjoy the movie for free.

Plus if you need a pumpkin for Thanksgiving they have plenty and are running some deals.

It's always a perfect time for pumpkins.
