One Amarillo, Texas Holy Chicken Location Closed It’s Doors

It seems like you always crave Chick-fil-A in Amarillo on Sundays. Am I right? The one day that you can not pick up that holy chicken because they are closed each and every Sunday. So you learn to punt. You have to find something else.

Well, recently we found out that one Amarillo Chick-fil-A will be closed on Sundays and all the days around it for a while. The location on Coulter Street has closed its doors. They are working on coming back bigger and better.

Didn't Chick-fil-A  Already Close Not That Long Ago?

They did. They were closed for a bit when they were working on their dining room. That is not what is being improved now. The parking lot and drive-through are now the focus on their improvement. Which, if we are being honest that parking lot has always been a mess.

When asked about the recent closure this is what they said:

We actually did an inside renovation back in 2021. This will be an exterior renovation!! So opening up the drive-thru and doing better and safer things for our guests in the drive-thru and parking lot

We were just discussing that at work. The parking lot is hard to navigate and sometimes the traffic backs up onto Coulter. So the fact that they are fixing it is a blessing. It just means that these improvements will mean that they will have to close their doors until they get it all taken care of.

They did mention in a video that they shared that you should keep an eye on their social media page HERE. They will update us on opening dates and have some fun contests. So luckily we have other Chick-fil-A's in Amarillo to get you through this dry spell.

If you try to look up the Coulter Street location you will see that they are temporarily closed. If you drive by you will notice that as well. They will be back and better than ever. Just wait and see.
