It seems a lot of times in Amarillo we hear about a food truck that has made it big and is now getting a restaurant. This is in reverse. This successful restaurant is adding a food truck so they can get their delicious food out to even more people.

I love seeing businesses with heart succeeding like this. It is good for the local business and it is always good for our community. Shi Lee's has some great food. If you have not been by and tried them then you are really missing out.

Not only that but they are first at jumping in and helping to feed the community. I mean they are a restaurant so you expect them out feeding people. Except that Shi Lee's goes above and beyond and we find them at so many city events handing out free food.

They definitely put their money where their mouth is. Nobody doubts their love for our community. So when you see a business like this growing and succeeding you can't help but smile a bit.

That is what is happening. Shi Lee's is adding a food truck. They are taking their deliciousness on the road.

So be on the lookout. Shi Lee's will be bringing their BBQ and soul food all over Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle. I already know there are a lot of people who will be waiting.

Just to get some of their mouth-watering catfish. I mean come on. They have a lot of fantastic stuff but I can never pass up their catfish.
