The things that you can find in Amarillo can really be amazing. There are things that this city offers that you may not even know anything about, but could really be a great source to help you try something new.

Or maybe you are not looking for something new, maybe you are just looking for more space. In a world where you may want to downsize, having a space to keep your things and help keep your sanity could be very valuable.

That is where the Amarillo Public Library's Makerspace could really step in.

What is a Makerspace and How Could it Benefit You?

Have you ever heard of a makerspace? I hadn't until recently, but it is really a cool idea. The Downtown Amarillo Library offers this space that is included with the usage of your Amarillo Public Library card.

According to the Amarillo Public Library's website:

Located on the second floor of the Downtown Library, the MakerSpace is a place where patrons can complete art projects, learn the basics of any craft, upcycle items, and do their own mending and repairs!

So, maybe you do not have the space at your house to work on projects, but the Downtown Amarillo Library does. Maybe you need a place to keep all of your treasures and space to work on them. The library offers it. All you need is a library card.
