A Texas influencer was sentenced to 120 months in prison after she tried to pay to have some online enemies killed.

35-year-old Ashley Grayson was once an influencer out of Dallas, Texas. Grayson gained a large following from being a self-proclaimed "bestseller, eight-figure business coach, course creator, and philanthropist."

Grayson formed a negative relationship with a woman from Southaven, Mississippi, who ran an online business similar to her own. Grayson believed the Mississippi woman had begun to create fake online profiles to use them to criticize Grayson and her business.

Grayson took their rivalry to another level when she reached out to a Memphis woman she had formerly worked with, stating she had a business opportunity for her.

The woman and her husband flew out to Texas to learn more about the opportunity. Grayson revealed to the couple that she was willing to pay them $20,000 to kill the woman from Mississippi. Grayson also revealed that she wanted her ex-boyfriend and another Texas woman who criticized her online to be killed and would pay an additional $20,000 for each person's murder.

The Memphis woman recorded a video call with Grayson that confirmed she wanted the Southaven woman killed. She tried to expedite the murder by offering an additional $5,000 for the murders to be completed in the next week.

However, the Memphis couple swindled Grayson by sending her photos of police lights to make like they had unsuccessfully attempted the killings. The couple demanded $10,000, which they collected from Grayson and her husband for the "attempt."

Grayson was sentenced to 120 months in prison, without the possibility of parole, and three years of supervised release. Her husband Joshua was acquitted of any charges.
