Living in Texas is a unique experience. At times, it's the greatest thing ever. There are those moments when you'll wonder why this is the choice you made; you can thank the weather for that one.

Speaking of the weather, it's unpredictable in Texas. The old joke is that if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. It'll change. Already this year, we've seen all four seasons in just one month. Mother Nature is insane in Texas.
Before You Move To Texas, Understand That Everything Really Is Bigger Here
I came to Texas from Oklahoma. In my home state, you can travel from one corner to the other in roughly four and a half to five hours. In Texas, it feels like you drive that long before you see the next town over.
If you're driving from the western edge of Texas to the eastern edge, it will take you around 12 hours to complete the trip. Imagine driving for 12 hours and never leaving the state you're in. Welcome to Texas.
In some of the most northern portions of Texas, it's quicker to drive to Canada than it is to the opposite end of the state. When we say everything is bigger in Texas. This is what we mean.
