Amarillo seems to be obsessed with murals, and I'm perfectly fine with that. They're all over the place. There are several different groups and artists that have done fantastic murals all over town. Soon, Amarillo will be celebrating even more and in a bigger way.

What Is Hoodoo Mural Festival In Amarillo, TX?
Hoodoo Mural Festival is unique. Every year, new murals are added downtown and the festival is a way of unveiling and celebrating them. There's live music, events, and food to help celebrate.
This year, organizers have cranked it to eleven when it comes to just how much the festival will have to offer.
So, What Has Been Added To This Year's Mural Festival?
To put it simply, a lot. Organizers put out a press release earlier today highlighting some of the changes.
First, there is going to be kid specific activities at this year's festival. If you have children who are interested in art, this is going to be something they'll love.
There is also going to be a vendor village that will host some of Amarillo's finest artisans, makers, and designers.
If you're wondering about food, this year there is going to be plenty of it. There will be several food trucks on hand to satisfy whatever craving you've got. Seriously, the list is massive.
Don't Forget About The Music
There's also a lot of music at the festival. Over ten DJs from the area will be performing on the Silent Disco Stage. Also performing will be, as the press release states, one of Amarillo's hottest bands at the moment; Vamping.
