Here is Another Incredible Texas High School Football Stadium
As many of you know, High School Football is another level in the state of Texas. Some of the Texas High School football stadiums make some D2 college stadiums look small-town.
State-of-the-art facility costs $56 million
The latest state-of-the-art stadium to open in Texas is in LaPorte, home of the Bulldogs, and was built for a price tag of $56 million. The stadium has a capacity of around 9000 fans. Alongside the new field, the amenities will also feature an 8-lane track, a new press box, and many other top-tier features. Take a tour thanks to isshouston on TikTok.

The stadiums in Victoria are stuck in the 70s
In Victoria, we are way behind the times for football facilities. We have Memorial Stadium, which was upgraded to turf many years ago. However, the restroom facilities, the concession stands, and the stands are just a few things stuck in the 1970s. A track would be nice too. Hopefully, an upgrade will happen in the near future.
Honestly, Patti Welder Stadium just needs upgraded lighting. The grass playing surface and the stands are adequate for JV and Junior High games. It would also be nice to have the St. Joseph Flyers return to playing their home games there as well.

Did Anyone Watch These TV Shows in the 1980s and 1990s?
While you might think “watching while distracted” is a modern habit, even back in the day the TV was just… there, humming along while you did other things. These were the shows that weren’t exactly “must-see TV,” more like “might-see TV” — part of the culture, but you had to wonder: who was actually watching?
